Job Description
The Role
Are you passionate about strong wool with the network to match? Then Look no further, as the New Zealand Supply Manager - Strong Wool you will lead NZM’s Strong wool procurement and shape the future of the industry to deliver value to growers.
As the New Zealand Supply Manager – Strong Wool you will:
Lead NZM’s Strong Wool Supply Services team
Collaborate with the GM Global Supply to develop a strategic plan for strong wool
Drive strong wool procurement growth and business development across New Zealand
Build and maintain deep relationships with strong wool growers and industry stakeholders
Ensure each grower gains a full understanding of the value of ZQ & ZQRX to their individual enterprise.
Desired Skills and Experience
The Person
Tertiary qualification in business, procurement or equivalent level of knowledge.
7+ years’ experience in procurement, sales, or supply chain leadership
Proven ability to lead teams and build strong commercial relationships
Pre-existing network of strong wool growers in New Zealand
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and ability to work seamlessly with others.
Commercial and business acumen.
