Job Description
The Role
Are you looking for a role that combines sales, relationship management and interacting with growers (farmers) - then look no further!
Reporting to the GM Global Supply, the Area Manager North Island will;
Develop strong commercial relationships with key growers within the North Island.
Be responsible for procurement and selling of contracts to growers.
Provide grower support through digital platforms.
Maximise the revenue opportunities for NZM through procurement, sales management and relationships.
Desired Skills and Experience
The Person
A degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness or equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience in Agriculture industry
Experience in wool procurement, contract negotiation and sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build deep commercial relationships and establish credibility with stakeholders.
Strong Commercial acumen
Tech-savvy
An appreciation for wool, along with grower empathy and an affinity for the primary sector
A full clean drivers license
